I visited the Grand Mercure Xidan Beijing hotel yesterday. It is an elegant hotel offering a friendly service. It belongs to the international group Accor, from French origins.

The Grand Mercure Xidan just located in the commercial and business district of Xidan.

Shopping in the Xidan area is very popular in Beijing. It features a very big clothing market which is mostly frequented by young Beijingers.

Xidan is close to Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City.
